This hand-bound book with custom-designed and 3D printed slip case was produced as a marketing piece for a design-build firm. Every aspect of this project was considered, designed and produced specifically with the end recipient in mind.
The slip case was 3D modeled and shaped to evoke automotive geometries. After it was 3D-printed, the 2-piece case was sent to an automotive body shop to receive a professional, high-gloss paint finish. The book was hand-wrapped in red fabric with custom embossing of "plus" and "minus" signs to symbolize the electric nature of the automobiles produced by the recipient.
The graphic layout and text throughout was carefully curated to ensure the book was both handsome and accessible through the use of high-contrast colors.
